Dailymail : Born in Merseyside, Rossiter joined Liverpool in 2003 at the age of just six ‒ a youth product in every sense of the word. On the day of his 15th birthday, he made his debut for their Under-18 side.
He is known as a deep-lying, tough-tackling midfielder and Robbie Fowler in January 2013 likened him to Steven Gerrard. 'Big shout but potentially a young Stevie G,' the Liverpool legend tweeted.
Sportsmail columnist Jamie Carragher likewise previously said: 'I like the look of him. He's got a bit of character and steel that me and Stevie have had. He's a great talent.'
Liverpool : Rossiter, meanwhile, made his Barclays Premier League debut as a substitute during the Reds' 0-0 draw with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium 24 hours earlier.
A good week for the pair has now been further improved by the news that they have both been included in Aidy Boothroyd's latest England squad.
